The attribute combo from Apparition simply consumes all three orbs. However, it’s possible to force a Cudgel reset by controlling the order of element usage.
Against dummies/Culvert, the goal is to use Heaven as the last orb, so you’re not waiting for Apparition to proc again for Cudgel resets.
For bossing, Cudgel is significantly more valuable, so manually filling orbs might be better than blindly using Earth Wave.
If you consume Heaven (blue orb) before the others, the reset mechanic can fail, leaving you worse off.
Use Heaven only when it's the last orb remaining to force the best resets.
Culvert Optimization: Prioritize elemental rotation consistency to maintain high uptime.
Bossing: Focus on intentional orb consumption to maximize Cudgel resets over everything else.
Hoyoung gains a 5% Final Damage (FD) bonus when switching between different elemental skills due to the 3rd job Scroll Energy (Passive) effect:
Using a skill with a different attribute than the previous one grants a 5% FD boost.
Alternating Heaven, Earth, and Humanity skills ensures maximum FD uptime.
Maintaining a structured combo cycle optimizes damage.
The optimal DPM rotation ignores Heaven skills manually, allowing Apparition to fill Heaven automatically:
Use Ground-Shattering Wave to manually fill Earth.
Use Cudgel to manually fill Humanity.
Let Apparition fill Heaven, ensuring a full combo every cycle.
Set A: Cudgel → Wave
Set B: Cudgel → Wave → Iron Fan Gale
Alternating between these two sets allows maximum Cudgel resets via Legion Artifact cooldown skip and HEXA bonuses.
If Gourd/Degen-weaving, ensure you still use Wave periodically.
With Grandis Goddess Blessing, energy generation can be excessive—manually maintaining Wave usage ensures consistent resets.
Avoid spamming Cudgel excessively (e.g., 2–4 casts back-to-back), as it removes the FD bonus from element switching.
If Heaven is used too early, it may cause Apparition to fill Earth instead, disrupting the cycle.
Properly rotating skills in the right order prevents wasted cooldown resets.
